This week's Pet of the Week from Project Hope Humane Society in Metropolis is Precious, a neutered male shorthair cat. Aluminum cans for recyling are accepted anytime at Project Hope No-Kill Animal Shelter. Large blue barrels located on the front porch make it easy to drive by and drop off your clean, bagged cans. And remember, not only drink cans, but many cat food cans are reclyable aluminum. Just no foil or aluminum pie pans, please.
